I agree.
This one bit me yesterday too. I had a program that seemed to run forever.
It was in fact looping because someone had commented out the *INLR and there
was no RETURN statement. The cycle just kept running the program over and
over again. The fact that we rarely use the Cycle makes it very easy to
overlook.
This is a trap that should become rarer with V6R1, where you can chose to
eliminate the Cycle althogher - something we plan to do as a default. Then
we can enable it only as needed/used.
