This particular problem that I'm researching is already a few weeks old
and I no longer have the joblog to support this research. I still
couldn't quite agree with you about the database did a partial rollback
of a commitment cycle. Commitment Control is suppose to protect this
type of scenario from happening.

Subject: Re: commit cycle ID

Surely unrelated to RPG... Regardless, the R-BR and R-UR need not be
from a ROLLBACK initiated by the program nor command-line ROLLBACK
request. The database itself can initiate an effective rollback of an
operation; e.g. as implementation for an error condition. Review all of
the details for the entry to determine what could have effected the
rollback of that one row; including at a minimum, the row number and
trigger & RI indicators, and flag. The limited view of what is given,
is a /blinders on/ view of the scenario. Full entry details combined
with the details from the joblog for that timestamp, might be even more
revealing.

I'm a bit confuse about journal entries below, the program that did
the update on BLCNYPF and BLCNPPF files is a ILE RPG program that runs

under the QILE activation group. All these transactions have the same

Commit Cycle ID. The last two entries (BR and UR for BLCNPPF file)
seems to indicate that the program has did a rollback. If that is the

case, why am I not seeing the similar BR and UR transactions for
BLCNYPF file?
