Its always been fun, so it should be again that night.
Here's an idea: Have your significant other fly into DFW that afternoon and take her to Casino Night. Stay overnight for a fun time for both of you. She deserves a fun night out, right? And you get to socialize with people that like the midrange machines, (Is that a plus or a minus? ;)

btw, the Dallas/Fort Worth User Group Casino Night is April 25th. Non-members is, I am, told, $50 for a couple with a discount for early reservations. I'll let you know the link when its up.
