Could you not make your arrDS based on a pointer, and allocate the number
of rows (bytes) needed at run time based on count(*) or something like
that?

Not something I tried. This weekend was my first adventure into multi-row Fetch. With the problems I had getting a compile to work with anything but a hardcoded DIM on the DS, I am curious if it will work with a DS based on a pointer. That could make the routine future-proof and remove my hardcoded (ick) values altogether.

Thanks for the idea,
JD
