To read the tables what's the best method (rapid)?
I would advise you learn the 2nd method (SETLL/READ/etc) first for two key
reasons:
1 - Most existing code will probably use this method
2 - Your mentor codes this way
Once you master the classic code style you will be able to maintain your
existing codebase. Then you can start experimenting with SQL and other
techniques, chosing which you like best based on speed and/or comfort
level. I personally use a lot of SQL for new development, but if I did
not understand the native opcodes I would never be able to get my job
done.
