I hate the double (quadruple?) quotes method. Probably because I'm always screwing it up.

Instead, I create a field named apos defined as x'7D' which is the apostrophe (in CCSID 37, anyway). Then, I just concatenate that field whenever I build a command, string, or whatever that needs an apostrophe.

Probably just me, but it's more readable and, thus, understandable.

Hi

I'm want to make a string for use in a command, that has a ' in it. Like *KEY('xxxxxxx'). But i simply can't remember how to insert a ' (single quote) in a string, when it also means end of string...
