You might want to try the free mail utility, MMAIL. We use it here every
day with very good results. You can find it at
http://www.easy400.net/mmailh/intro.htm.

A couple of years ago, I created an interface to the SNDDST
command so
that a variety of iSeries events would trigger an email to
one or more
appropriate users. It works very well but I don't think it
can handle
attaching a spreadsheet residing in the IFS to the message.
Does anyone
have a suggestion for accomplishing this?
