Copy from Import File

Hi guys,

I am doing a CPYFRMIMPF :

CPYFRMIMPF FROMSTMF('\kunip\MMF1010.dn') +
TOFILE(BSMF610/METUPF) MBROPT(*ADD) +
RCDDLM(*ALL) STRDLM('"') FLDDLM(',') +
RPLNULLVAL(*FLDDFT)

which works, however if I try to pass a variable as a file name using

CHGVAR VAR(&FILE) VALUE(MMF1010.dn)

CPYFRMIMPF FROMSTMF('\kunip\&FILE') +
TOFILE(BSMF610/METUPF) MBROPT(*ADD) +
RCDDLM(*ALL) STRDLM('"') FLDDLM(',') +
RPLNULLVAL(*FLDDFT)

I end up with a blank TOFILE member - any help in where I could be
going wrong?
