The AFP manual and QSAMPLE library will not help unless:

1) You are printing to an DEVTYPE(*IPDS) AFP(*YES) printer

--or--

2) You are printing to an ASCII printer which understand PCL.


Option 1 is definitely not true.

Option 2 is probably not true.
