Can someone please clarify,
I am running an interactive job, if I call a CLE from this job that submits two jobs in batch (jobA and jobB), will the interactive job carry on running only when submitted jobA and jobB finish? bearing in mind that jobA needs to finish before jobB starts. (if I have made any sense)
The job running interactively:
CALL PGM(CEDIOOTFP4) PARM(&ERROR) MONMSG MSGID(CPF0000) CALL PGM(CEDIOOTFE2) PARM(&INVFILE &CRDFILE &ERROR) MONMSG MSGID(CPF0000) *-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The code for CEDIOOTFP4 is:
SBMJOB CMD(CALL PGM(BSMO610/CEDIOM4901)) + JOB(TFD_OTH) JOBQ(QSYS/PBATCH) MONMSG MSGID(CPF0000)
SBMJOB CMD(CALL PGM(BSMO610/CEDIOM4902)) + JOB(TFD_SLE) JOBQ(QSYS/PBATCH) MONMSG MSGID(CPF0000) *------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Scenario: Job(TFD_OTH) needs to complete then Job(TFD_SLE) needs to complete and then only the call to CEDIOOTFE2 needs to happen.
Should I split the code for CEDIOOTFP4 into two CLE and then call them from the interactive job?
