Thanks Scott for clearing that up for me.

Hi Nick,

WARNING: Failed to load the sqljdbc_auth.dll
Any Ideas? The process does what it is supposed to do just not sure
if this is an issue.

SQL Server supports several different methods of authentication. One of
them is called "Integrated Authentication" and is only supported from
Windows programs. (It's not supported from non-Windows platforms like
i5/OS.) This sqljdbc_auth.dll file is required if you're a Windows
user, and you want to use integrated authentication.

Indeed, since sqljdbc_auth.dll is a DLL file, which is compiled Windows
code (analogous to a *SRVPGM on i5/OS), you'll never be able to use it
in a non-Windows environment.

I'm no SQL Server expert, but if I understand it correctly, integrated
authentication means that you're using the Windows userid/password to
log in to SQL Server. If that's the case, it REALLY makes no sense to
try to use it from i5/OS.

At any rate -- you'll never be able to use integrated authentication
from RPG running under i5/OS, so the message is nothing to worry about.
Since you say your code appears to work, I'm willing to bet that
you're using a different authentication message, and everything is
working properly.

You can safely ignore the warning message.
