It is my understanding that if you create a data structure for a file using
the LIKEREC keyword that the data structure is "implicitly" qualified. I
understand this to mean that fields are referenced in the format DATA
STRUCTURE.FIELD not just FIELD. While testing a process using the LIKEREC
keyword, I inadvertently left off the qualified name and used only the field
name and the program worked fine. What am I missing?
