If - and only if - the data is all numeric - e.g. a phone number with
embedded blanks - then this will do it:
numberOnly = %Dec(editedNumber: len: decDigits)
If you need the result back in a char field then something like:
charNumber = %EditC(numberOnly: 'X')
Since they are BIFs, the two can be combined into a single operation if you
wish.
