The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.

So do the Client Access Win32 API's give me access to only SQL related
functions or can I access other object types on the i5 (i.e. data queues,
RPG programs, spool files). I am asking out of ignorance as I haven't
used
them, but I am also seeing if you have ignorance of the Java Toolkit
IBM has
which gives to _direct_ access to many resources on the i5.

These APIs have been around for as long as iSeries Access (Client
Access) has been around. Note that these are _client_ APIs and require
iSeries Access installed on the client. As such, the programming topic
isn't "RPG" unless perhaps it's "Visual RPG".
The APIs on PCs is huge part of what makes iSeries Access preferable to
competing products.
At times, even more interesting are some of the odd .EXEs that you can
find in the iSeries (Client) Access directory under /Program Files/IBM,
e.g., wrksplf.exe and lstjbl.exe.
