As indicated below, it is like the name says just a dummy file because
the following statement is not valid.

Select iDate('2007-07-01')

You must have a from statement or it will not compile. Get handy for
things like this in a program.

Exec Sql Set aVariable = Select iDate(@numdate) From SYSIBM/SYSDUMMY1;
