Hi group,

Never mind, I already figured it out.

I copied the C example code a bit to faithfully, and did not replace the surrounding quotes (") characters with apostrophes (') but instead surrounded them with apostorphes.

Removing the quote characters fixed thing.

Hello Group,

I am trying to set the external schema location in order to validate a XML file, while using the code below. I get the following error message: Error: An exception occurred! Type:RuntimeException, Message:Warning: The primary document entity could not be opened. Id=file:///VSCT2/SEPATEST/vsc.pacs.008.001.01.xsd" The file /VSCT2/SEPATEST/vsc.pacs.008.001.01.xsd does actually exist on the system.

C EVAL %str(XMLtempstring@ : 256) =
C '"urn:swift:'+
C 'xsd:$pacs.008.001.01 ' +
C 'file:///VSCT2/SEPATEST/' +
C 'vsc.pacs.008.001.01.xsd"'
C EVAL XsdFile@ =
C QxmlTranscodeToUNICODE(
C XMLtempString@: Qxml_CCSID37:0)

* Set validation schema location
C CALLP QxmlSAX2XMLReader_setProperty(
C parser@:
C extrschema@:
C 0:
C 0:
C XsdFile@)

* Call parser providing the XML file name
C CALLP QxmlSAX2XMLReader_parse_SystemId(
C parser@:
C XmlFile@:
C Qxml_CCSID37:
C 0)

Can someone explain what I am doing wrong?

Kind regards,

Loek Maartens
