Defining datastructure with ExtName/LikeRec

Dear list,



I'm defining a datastructure and I want the layout of the datastructure
to be the same as an existing file.



Now I'm a bit puzzled. What do I use ? ExtName or Likerec ?



dsMyFile E DS ExtName(MyFile)

or

dsMyfFile DS LikeRec(MyFileR)



And what is the difference between ExtName and LikeRece ?
