The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.
<snip>...and let's not forget *PSSR, which you can (and *should*) use within
any procedure that does any 'work'.</snip>
You don't need a *PSSR sbroutine, and I never use one. There are many ways
to handle exceptions, and some are MUCH more elegant and MUCH MUCH more
useful than a *PSSR subroutine.
<snip>That's all I have to say - I've done the "subroutines vs.
subprocedures" debate too much. As Joe says, they both have their
place.</snip>
Yep, not much more to say on that subject. Plenty to say on the differing
ways of handling exceptions though. :-)
