I can't speak for "pure" iSeries solutions, but take a look at angel.com
(I'm just a happy customer). They're a hosted solution for "voice sites"
that we've used for clients (and ourselves).

They have something in the site called a transaction page which can be
used to communicate w/back-end systems. They make a web request to the
back-end and the back-end responds with information to speak back to the
client, or an AngelML (xml) string to control the session (terminate,
transfer, ask a different question, record a voice message, etc.) Since
the iSeries can (obviously) handle web pages, you can easily integrate
the two. Angel can do the complete "please say what you want, for
example, say 'order status' to find the status of an order" type
interaction, no touch-tone requirements.
