I'm having a hard time visualizing what you expect to see in the result set. Given the following rows:

FLD1 FLD2 FLD3
1 A X
2 A Y
3 A Z
1 B X
2 B Y
3 B Z
1 C N
2 C M
3 C O

FLD1 is 1, 2 or 3
FLD2 is A, B or C
FLD3 is X, Y, Z, N, M or O

...then your output would look like what?
