Hi Willie

I don't think you can do it using edit codes. You can do it by converting
the value to a character string and then removing the trailing zeros from
the string before printing/displaying it.

I've posted a sub-procedure that does this at

All the best

Jonathan

Subject: Edit out trailing 0's

I would like to not print training zeros. Ex: .153000 to print like .153
I have looked in the DDS Book, but could not find what I wanted.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
William Moore
