What are you doing? SQL or RPG i/o

If RPG i/o just read the record.... start a monitor block, eval value
to a numeric field. if an error occurs iter...

Monitor;
SomeNumericField = %Int(FieldFromFile);
On-Error *All;
Iter;
End-Mon;

I'll pass on giving advice for the SQL portion.
