If you are already on release V5R4, the easiest way is to use the SQL
scalar
function LAST_DAY in embedded SQL:

Exec SQL Set :EndNxtMon = Last_Day(:MyDate + 1 Month);

Thats GREAT I have R4 and that's tidied up my code nicely.

Now, what about the FIRST day of the month?

I should have said, at the moment I have :

/Ugh
1stDay= %DATE ( '01' + %SUBST ( %CHAR ( MyDate ) : 3 ) : *EUR ); //
Format is DD.MM.YYYY.

/End-Ugh
