Never mind - my brain finally kicked in

I'll use SFLCSRRRN with a prompt (F4 probably) on the sub-file screen to
read that sub-file record and display the necessary data in a window.

Afternoon all
Here is my problem.
I have a subfile program that loads the data page-at-a-time (SFLSIZ =
SFLPAG), but the boss wants me to use a drop down (read SFLFOLD) with the
data. However, this is NOT possible with a page-at-a-time subfile (see the
blurb below from the IBM manual)

1. If subfile size equals subfile page, an error message (severity 20)
is issued and SFLFOLD is ignored. When several display sizes are used
(DSPSIZ keyword specified), SFLFOLD is ignored only for display sizes
for which the subfile size equals subfile page. If the subfile record
format contains field selection, SFLFOLD is not valid.

Has anybody else have to get around this situation, if so, how?

Thanks in anticipation
