It isn't clear to me where your problem, lies. Having read the Input record, the values in the input record's fields are established. Just output the fields for each output field at detail time as often as desired. Even if the field is used in each output file the values will be remain unchanged (unless you are using the dreaded Blank-after feature of the O-Specs).
