Yes sir, I added BNDDIR('QC2LE') and it now works like a charm. I have created
a copy book for it. I like it much better, seems more "up-to-date" then the old
qcmdexe and in keeping with using /free and procedures..."the modern way"?

Good Luck
Bill

Bill
what Peter said is true. You need to include QC2LE in your BNDDIR, but if
that wasn't included I would think that you would get a problem with
BINDING and NOT Definition not found.
Did including QC2LE in your BNDDIR work?
I'm curious.

While playing around with Alan's system command. Compiling it for testing

I get the following:

Definition not found for symbol '_EXCP_MSGID'.
Definition not found for symbol 'system'.

Any idea?

Thnx
