%Day() is wrong...

You should use...

Eval Year = %SubDt(%Date():*Years)
Eval Month = %SubDt(%Date():*Months)
Eval Day = %SubDt(%Date():*Days)

Randy,

You are right, the job date is set to UDATE = 060107.(checked it in
debug)
So how do i change this and make it accept the job date as the date when
the
job is run?

Unless I remember incorrectly, the Udate fields return the Job Date
information not the System date. Try debugging your program and check
the
value of UDATE before creating @CD1. Maybe you have something setting
the
Job Date to the 1st of the month.

Derek,
It *should* return the current day using the Job Date.
I just tried it on V5R3 and it worked fine.

Hi all,

What value does UDay return?? Isn't it supposed to return the current
Day?
I am facing a problem over here
UYear returns 07- which is perfect
UMonth returns 06 - which again is perfect
But Uday always returns the value 01 - ??? (Tried running it yesterday -
still the same result)
Why is it so?? Any suggestions??

$Calc Begsr

Eval @CY1 = UYear
Eval @CM1 = UMonth
Eval @CD1 = UDay

Endsr

Thanks in advance

Derek
