Again, for many years, any discussion where I (or Bob, or Trevor, or..
or...) disagree with you will turn into a long, protracted argument.
That's all I want to avoid. I want us to say our opinions and stop
without a protracted argument.
This, though, is the part I respectfully disagree with. I don't see why
you're allowed to present your opinion and I'm not allowed to present mine.
Even if you disagree with me, you don't HAVE to prove yourself right or me
wrong. You can just say that either one is acceptable, and you prefer
yours.
Instead, we get into an argument where you have to be right. You extend the
argument, not me. And then you get mad at me for extending the argument,
when I'm just responding to your response. At several points in the
previous discussion, I said things like "I prefer this way." That ought to
be enough. Instead, you seem hell-bent on proving WHY your way is better.
There seems to be no middle ground.'
Anyway, the reason I bring this up is that I'm going to try one last time to
present my opinion on the whole VARYING issue. I'll try to be concise, and
civil, and you can choose your response or lack thereof.
