Hi,

With the following steps you can replace SNDNETSPLF in the WRKSPLF through a
command of your choice:
1. The SNDNETSPLF-Command call is located in the QCPFMSGF Message-Id CPX3438
and CPX3439.
2. Create a new message file and add CPX3438 and CPX3439 where the command
you want to execute is specified.
3. Copy the command you want to call in the QSYS library
4. Before calling the WRKSPLF-command Override the QCPFMSG with the newly
created message file. In this way the changed CPX3438 and CPX3439 are used
while all other messages are taken from the original QCPFMSG-file. But be
aware you only can pass the same parameters as used in the SNDNETSPLF
command (for example the qualified spoolfile name)
5. After executing the modified WRKSPLF command delete the override.

Mit freundlichen Grüßen / Best regards

Not that I know of. I see that WRKSPLF has an option 1 Send, which
invokes SNDNETSPLF. I tried copying SNDTCPSPLF to a library ahead of
QSYS in my library list and naming it as SNDNETSPLF, but option 1 still
goes to SNDNETSPLF, so either it's hardcoded to go to QSYS, or it might
be specified in a message somewhere so that you could change it.

Another option is to get Brad Stone's SPLTOOL, which lets you define
your own options, and provides other options like email, FTP, etc.

Interesting that it doesn't show up with F10...?? Never having used
this command, is there any way of accessing it via the WRKSPLF, or
other WRK option?

Hi Dave,

Prompt with F4, then press F9 to see all possible parameters -- it's
at the bottom of the 2nd page on the v5r3 machine I happen to be on:

Delete file after sending . . . DLTSPLF *NO

I don't see a DLT option - OTOH, I'm looking at 5.3...??

Try SNDTCPSPLF, it has a DLTSPLF parameter to delete the source spool
file after sending.

Unfortunately...or not...it doesn't "MOVE", but rather copies... Now
if there was a way to MOVE the spool file, that would be an
interesting bit of information...

Correct. I can use the sndnetsplf
To move them when it happens.
