Bob,
Assuming that p_option is defined elsewhere, the following statements would be
needed in your "D" specs:
D My_Program PR EXTPGM('YOURPROGRAM')
D P_Option 3A

D My_Program PI
D P_Option

The first group of statements is the prototype for the call to this program.
This is where you specify the actual name of your program and define any parms.
The field names here are for info only, but you need to define the attributes.
The next group is the procedure interface. This is the actual list of parms
that your program is being called with. The field names that you use here are
the actual names that you will use in your program for the parms being passed.

Subject: Remove *Entry from /free

I am calling an RPG program from a CLP and passing one parm to the RPG
program.
The program is written in free with only the *entry and plist portion
with C-specs.

What is the best way to eliminate those last few c-specs?
I am on i5/OS V5R3.

Thank you, bob
