I'm trying to keep this thread going as I really think this is a topic that
should be .............. Unless by the silence I get the hint I should
shutup :}
When new enhancements to the language have done in the past and once again
I'll state I appreciate what IBM is doing for RPG, there are discussions and
articles done by many of the people on this list discussing the merits of
those enhancements and sometimes you here if they had only done 'blah' . I
also respect many on this list for there help they have given to alot of us
in the past and continue to do so. (Sorry I ramble)
If IBM even tipped us off on what directions they are going with the
language and maybe....... through some process we could give them some of
our feedback. I'm not talking about %trim here, would it not be benificial?
I would think our feedback would be of value to the RPG developemnt team at
IBM????
