Hi all,

I have a Trigger on a file which fires on a Delete Record. All's well,
unless I do a Clear Physical File Member (CLRPFM) ~ The Trigger doesn't like
that.

#3 is my problem. How can I get around this? There must be a trick, but I
can't find one.

Message . . . . : Triggers prevent requested
operation.
Cause . . . . . : The requested operation cannot be performed
because
triggers exist for file TESTPF in library DEVJF. The reason code is 3.
The
reason codes and their meanings
are:
1 -- The file specified on the TOFILE parameter has an *INSERT
trigger.
2 -- An initialize to default records operation was requested and the
file
has an *INSERT
trigger.
3 -- A clear operation was requested and the file has a *DELETE
trigger.
4 -- A Copy operation was attempted through a shared open of a
file.
