The difference between chaining the subfile with RRN is that you will read
ALL the records, providing you increment the RRN
READC will only read the changed subfile UNLESS you use SFLNXTCHG.

Hi,

I have a subfile which looks similar to the one below.

Select X

Opt Product
_ ABC
_ XYZ
_ LMN

Now if i select two records i need to update the subfile with the error
message and reverse image on as only one selection is allowed.

I can do this by chaining the subfile with the RRN, but can i do the same
by
using readc?
Do i have to use any other keyword for this. How do i update the
subfile(how
do i chain it to the record to be updated/reverse imaged on the subfile
using readc)

Thanks in advance

Derek
