I am working on an RPGIII (yes awful I know) program and I have a display
screen that on a selection of a display type brings up a subfile window, from
here we can then select another window to display details. Thats all fine, so I
select multiple records on the subfile, and when I F12 out of the detail screen
instead of displaying the next detail screen as I expect both windows
disappear. Both are conditioned by F12 to exit. So on checking the run in
debug, after coming out of the detail screen I set off F12 (and it is off
folks) then when I update the subfile record to clear the select field and read
the next subfile record the F12 is on again. Why is that? I solved the problem
by moving the place where I set off the F12 but I was just curious to know why
it is set on again in the first place. Anyone know?
TIA
Steve
