when i select a different order number, the value of the field still remains the same(the value changed for the previous order number is reflected for all the order numbers on the screen but not in the databse), but during debug, before the screen is EXFMT, the value is the actual value moved from the database file, but displayed value is the value entered the first time.

Is the new field passed back and forth as a parameter? Is there a name clash between the parameter, the database and the display file?
