RE: GENUUID

Do you think all the emphasis on SQL that I see on these lists is
because some of us started on COBOL (I don't want to use the term 'old
timers') which in function is very like the RPG of today, and tend to
think along those lines, while newer people tend to learn SQL based
database systems in school?
