It is right. Dec 31, 2007 is the 53rd week of THE YEAR, 2007. It is not the
first week of 2008 based on the calendar. I think you are more in the line
of fiscal/planning periods.

I would suggest you build a table containing the begin date crossed to the
week number and year.

Hello!



Does anybody know a RPG routine which calculates the number of the week?



I've tried some code that could be downloaded on several sites in the
internet. Not a single one calculates the correct number of the week for
instance for December, 31st 2007.

All show 53 as number of the week but it is week number 1 instead.



Every help is welcome.
