Good News Everybody!

The new search engine is LIVE!

Please report any problems to david (at) midrange.com.

At our next meeting there is supposed to be a discussion about this and I
will post a follow up on the suggestions and hopefully at the time he will
give us his solution.

The other option may be to only have the command executed from within a
HLL program (like RPGLE) that calls the QCAPCMD api. QCAPCMD is like
QCMDCHK, QCMDEXC, system() and a host of others - all on steroids. Check
it out. We use it for a program that verifies a command to be stored in a
file for use by a menu system, and, also a file of commands to execute at
strategic points in our backup like:
- What commands would you like to execute after we quiesced all
applications, performed the backups and prior to opening up the
applications again?
- What commands would you like to execute after we quiesced all
applications, performed the backups and after opening up the applications
again?
