Your record format has to be different that the physical file name. Override
it in the pgm or rename the physical to make the format and file name
different.

Subject: Reading a file created by Query

Good Afternoon,
I am creating a file from query that is read into an RPGIV
program.

In the RPG program I am using an Externally defined file as the file
definition and it has an EXTMBR value.

The query creates the file as a subset of the master file.

When the read occurs I am getting an
"Undefined record type is found in file PRHSTD"

I am stumped anybody have any ideas.

Thanks in advance
