I changed the job's parameters to LOG(4 0 *MSG) LOGCLPGM(*YES) and got a job log, but did not get any details regarding the SQL process. Perhaps the tip suggested is for interactive jobs only? Kin says: I had to STRSRVPGM before starting STRDBG UPDPROD(*YES). I should have realized that for a batch job. My bad. Now I have a job log that is 173 pages long. And it looks like I am getting a (SQL7913 Message: ODP deleted.) for every invocation of $Allocate. Does that sound right?
