arguments[i] in RPG -- RPG400-L

There was a discussion recently (last 3 months?) regarding a way to
reference parameters passed to a procedure in a more abstract way, like is
done in JavaScript:  arguments[i].  Unfortunately I'm having a severe senior
moment and can't find the thread.  Can anyone point me there?  I would like
to review the discussion to see what, if anything, came from it.
