Hi Karen,
Does anyone have a utility that cleans up the IFS directories by age?
Assuming that you're looking for an RPG solution that your programmers can modify, etc, (after all, you asked on the RPG mailing list!) I wrote one and discussed it in the following article:
http://www.systeminetwork.com/article.cfm?id=52993That link requires a membership with the System iNetwork, but a free (Associate) membership will work.
As I eluded to, all of the source code is there and is written in free-format RPG using APIs. You should be able to modify it to work any way you'd like to provide the exact solution you're looking for.
The other method is to use a QShell script. There has been much discussion about this in the past on MIDRANGE-L. You could look in the archives. If you want to discuss the QShell approach, the MIDRANGE-L mailing list would be a better place.
Good luck!
