When was SELEC introduced? -- RPG400-L

Hi,

 

I started programming on the AS/400 in October 1991 and I always used SELEC.
But I remember my manager told me, this OPCode  and a few others, such as
SCAN and CHECK, were quite new.

So, I think SELEC was introduced with Release V2R2 or V2R3.
