Re: Displaying a $ using /free

Is it a redbook?  Do you the link or the SG #?  I searched the redbook website 
for /free and nothing was found.

Look at the %EditC in the ILE RPG Reference Manual for the version you are
on.  I believe in V5R3, you can specify a third parmeter (maybe even
earlier).

formatteddollar = %EditC(dollarAmt:'J':'$');

I suggest going to the IBM site and downloading the PDF file, as I use it
basically everyday.
