Here is an example of a service program and SQL Function that converts 3 fields to a date. This could be easily changed to use 4 fields. http://code.midrange.com/index.php?id=4e7318f239
Thanks for the link. It works great, EXCEPT <g> I was hoping to return a null value if the numeric input fields did not form a valid date. I tried: Return *NULL ; but the compiler spit it out because it wasn't a date data type. For now, invalid dates return 0001-01-01, but I'd rather return a null value. Any ideas? TIA, Dan
