I started with a small server and client program.. client will send 10 bytes of data and server will catch and store it in a file... Everything works as I expect except the receive part in the server... Rec() returns -1... and the error message says "Requested operation requires a connection"... Any clue why this happening?.... My Connect() in Client and Accept() in Server doesnt have any error.. and send() in client returns 10 as it has sent all data....... NETSTAT also shows server and client respectively are listening and establishing connection in the same port... any help in this is much appreciated... this hinders my progress any further in learning sock programming :(... Thanks!... --------------------------------- Have a burning question? Go to Yahoo!
