I have to agree with Matt, if you have to add a qualification to make it clear
what you are doing then it ain't that readable. And as an old RPG'er (had me
barnacles scraped last week) I also use SEU, but I am flitting between that and
WDSC, as I find they both have their good and bad points. Free format code I am
still experimenting with, and I have to say I find a lot of what is show on
here to be less readable at a glance than the fixed format code, but maybe
thats just because I'm an old fart. :-)

Just my two 'aporth.

Steve

<snip>

In terms of my
  var1 = (var2 = value);

example, I meant assigning the same value to var1 and var2, rather than
comparing var2 to value. I should have been clearer about that.

Sounds like a good reason not to do it then, doesn't it?

Matt
