Hi Vern, I talked to Hawkeye yesterday and they said they had no interest in a gui based solution which kind of turned my off. One of the things I really liked about X-Analysis was its seamless integration with wdsci. I live there now and having my Xref tool right there could be a sweet deal. Not to mention that I could immediately hack around and get into the X-Analysis stuff enough to become productive with it. -----Original Message----- On Behalf Of Vernon Hamberg Sent: Friday, December 08, 2006 2:20 PM To: RPG programming on the AS400 / iSeries Subject: RE: Program documentation tools Hi Rick Agreed - and to get some of the goodies you have to buy extra modules from them - the stuff that generates Java and the like. But for straight documentation and cross-reference, I think it is very good. The alternatives mostly are Abstract - also very good - and Hawkeye, although the latter is a hard sell for me now - their web site is unusable, I can't tell they are moving into this day and age. But I have not seen it lately, so can't say for sure. Vern
