Jay - To you and all others - the second level text of message SQL0122 had this
information in it - the main text is never enough. There are several reasons
for the message, but they are, for once, pretty easily understood from the
second-level text.

F1 is your friend!!

Jay,

In your Select clause, you are specifying two return fields, and are not
using any aggregation functions. In this case, I think you should just
remove the GROUP BY clause. If you choose to not remove the GROUP BY, then
just add the second field (QDRATE) to your group by list.

Eric

356 C+ '24MCD10K', '30MCD10K', '36MCD10K', '48MCD10K', '60MCD10K') GROUP

That would be the IN predicate
for example
SELECT CUSTID, NAME FROM CUSTOMER WHERE CUSTSTATE IN ('NY', 'NJ','PA')

OR
SELECT CUSTID, NAME FROM CUSTOMER WHERE CUSTSTATE IN (SELECT STATE FROM
WAREHOUSE)

I want to check for a list of literals in a variable, just like you
would
with the LIST in query400...

how do you do that?

Thanks,
