Dennis, do you then also have a way to get this into a PDF? -----Original Message----- From: rpg400-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:rpg400-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of DennisRootes@xxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Monday, October 30, 2006 12:41 PM To: rpg400-l@xxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: Re: RPG400-L Digest, Vol 5, Issue 1209 Lori, Is there a reason why you don't want to use the spool file as text? Normally I just use CPYSPLF to a flat file, then CPYTOPCD to QDLS, and then use SNDDST to email it out. You can make a CL that does all of that and just pass it the spool file parameters. message: 6 date: Fri, 27 Oct 2006 15:57:03 -0500 from: LGronewold@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx subject: Sending a report via e-mail At a previous job, I was able to send a report via e-mail. I thought we used the SNDDST command and sent the report directly. At my new job they use the SNDDST command but they copy it to a text document first and then send the test document. I can't remember if we had a package or not. Is there a way to send a spool file via e-mail without creating a text document first? Thanks Lori
